What we collect
Everything below comes from one place — the pickup request form. There is no account to create and nothing to log into.
- Name and email address. Required, because we cannot send you a quote without a way to reach you.
- Phone number. Optional. Leave it blank and the form still works.
- City. Optional, and only used to confirm the job is inside the area we haul.
- What needs to go, and your description of it. This is what we price the job from, so the more specific it is the more accurate the quote.
- How you reached the site. The referring page and any campaign tags on the link you clicked. These are stored in your browser for the length of your visit and submitted with the form so we know which pages actually bring in work.
What we do not collect
No advertising or analytics trackers run on this site. No cookies are set. No third-party scripts, fonts, maps, or embedded widgets load from anywhere else, which means no outside company is watching you read this page. We do not ask for and have no use for payment card numbers, government identification, or date of birth. We do not knowingly collect anything from children.
Your browser stores the campaign tags described above in session storage on your own device. That is cleared when you close the tab and is never readable by another site.
Why we hold it, and for how long
We use what you send to quote your job, confirm scope and timing, carry out the pickup, and follow up about that job. We also look at the traffic-source information in aggregate to work out which pages are worth writing more of.
We do not send marketing email or text messages to people who only asked for a quote. If we ever start, it will be something you opt into, not something you have to escape.
Requests are kept while the job is live and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
Who else sees it
Your request is passed to the booking and scheduling system our crew works from, which exists so the details reach the people doing the lifting. Our hosting provider necessarily processes the request in transit to deliver it. Both act on our instructions and for no other purpose.
Beyond that, nobody. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with data brokers, lead aggregators, or advertising networks. The only other circumstance in which we would hand it over is a valid legal demand.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.
To make any of those requests, send the pickup request form with the word PRIVACY at the start of the details box and your request written underneath. That form is the only channel this site has, so it is the one that reaches us.
Security, stated honestly
The site is served over HTTPS and your request is transmitted encrypted. We keep the number of people and systems touching your details small. No service can promise perfect security and we are not going to pretend otherwise — what we can say is that we hold very little about you in the first place, which is the most reliable protection there is.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. There is no mailing list to notify, by design.
